Terms of service

Effective August 18, 2026

1. The service

ScamSift provides informational security software that compares public wallet addresses, websites, URLs, and domains with selected warning sources and registration context. The service does not hold, transmit, exchange, recover, or invest funds and does not connect to your wallet.

2. No safety or professional verdict

Results are limited to the sources successfully checked at that time. A no-match result does not establish identity, legitimacy, ownership, intent, solvency, or safety. Results are not legal, financial, investment, compliance, credit-rating, or recovery advice. Independently verify payment instructions before acting.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts use short-lived codes sent to your email address. You must provide an address you control, keep your email account secure, and be legally capable of entering a contract. You are responsible for activity under your account. Never share a sign-in code, and contact us promptly if you believe the account has been compromised.

4. Free and Premium use

Free currently includes five completed checks per UTC day. Premium currently includes 50 personal-use checks per UTC day. Both plans use the same enabled public warning sources; Premium purchases a higher allowance, not stronger safety claims. Allowances and fair-use controls may change prospectively with reasonable notice.

5. Subscription billing

Premium renews automatically at the monthly or annual interval and price shown at checkout until cancelled. Taxes may be added where required. Stripe processes payment and provides hosted subscription management. Cancellation and refund rules are described in our Refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Do not submit secrets or unlawfully obtained personal information; evade limits; overload, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the service; interfere with sources; use results to harass or defame; or use ScamSift for unlawful activity. Public identifiers may still relate to people, so use them responsibly.

7. Sources and corrections

Third-party reports remain attributable to their publishers and can be delayed, incomplete, disputed, or corrected. Inclusion does not necessarily represent an independent ScamSift finding. Send evidence-based correction requests to support@scamsift.com.

8. Availability and changes

We may update sources, scoring, limits, features, or these terms, and may suspend access to protect the service or comply with law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material changes apply prospectively except where immediate action is necessary for security or compliance.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScamSift is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for a decision to send funds, connect a wallet, trust a website, or rely on a source record. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Contact
