Why it exists
Fraud warnings are scattered across sanctions lists, open-source phishing repositories, historical reports, and domain-registration records. ScamSift brings documented signals together and shows exactly what was checked.
The service was designed around a simple constraint: absence from a warning list must never be presented as proof that a recipient or website is safe.
What it is not
- Not a cryptocurrency exchange, wallet, custodian, broker, or payment service.
- Not an investment adviser, credit-rating agency, or fund-recovery provider.
- Not a substitute for confirming payment details through a trusted channel.
- Not a claim that every source record is accurate or complete.
Accountability
Every warning is intended to retain its publisher, evidence reference, retrieval time, and verification status. Our methodology and source coverage are public so users can judge the result instead of relying on a hidden verdict.
